Dean Ash

Managing Director

Dean Ash has been involved in all aspects of civil construction (specializing in Subdivisional Developments) and brings to the company over 40 years industry experience rarely paralleled. Dean has carried out civil works in both South Australia and Queensland and is a respected icon in this field, having gained the respect of clients, engineers, local authorities and his peers.

Prior to starting DAC Constructions, he was the Construction Manager for a large South Australian Based company for 20 years, before being relocated and assigned the role of Queensland General Manager.

Following his assignment in Queensland, Dean made the decision to go out on his own following requests by clients and engineers for a more personalized approach which only he could provide. His past experience in projects too numerous to list, range from major Main roads contracts in both South Australia and Queensland to over 400 subdivisions in the past 20 years.

Donald Ford

Construction Manager

Don Ford has over 20 years experience, and has worked in nearly all facets of the civil construction industry. Starting in 1984 with Abignano (ABI Group), Don has worked on several Main Roads projects such as the Crosby Bypass, Warrego Highway.

Don progressed from earthworks Centenary Highway duplication, Nambour Bypass and the Maroochydore Interchange and bridge construction to a supervising position in ABI Groups road paving operation which brought about projects at Townsville army base, Rockhampton to Yeppoon connection road, Lismore airport, Brisbane airport and numerous other projects.

After managing the earthworks on the Brisbane International Airport with ABI Group and FAC, Don left ABI Group to take up a Project Supervisors position with LR&M Constructions to gain experience in the Sub-division Industry. Don’s approachable demeanour and reputation for efficiency and getting the job done right first time, every time has grown many successful long-term relationships with both clients and engineers.


Michelle Jones

Office Manager

Michelle commenced with Dean Ash Constructions in 1995, as administration assistant.  Completing an Associate Diploma in Accounting, and with her vast level of experience in Accounts Payable and Receivables, progressed to Accounts Manager, and then the role of Office Manager.

Michelle leads the company operations by managing a team of administration staff, maintaining office systems, overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department, Payroll and the functioning of the office’s day-to-day procedures.

Having been with the Company for 24 years is a clear example of Michelle’s dedication, loyalty and outstanding contribution.
